About LMC Campers

fter LMC was taken over by Erwin Hymer in 1991, sister brand TEC moved from Mühlheim to the newly built facility in Sassenberg (Germany), and later merged into LMC. Notable is the much-discussed Long Life Technology, in which no wood is used in the walls, floors, or roofs. This construction method offers a twelve-year waterproofness guarantee. LMC is part of the Erwin Hymer Group.

At the location in North Rhine-Westphalia, vehicles of the LMC brand are manufactured. The site covers a total area of 175,000 m², of which 28,500 m² is covered. In recent years, investments have been made in the construction of a customer service centre, a new production and logistics hall, the acquisition of various facilities and machinery, and the construction of a roof for hail protection. In addition, a new chassis hall was completed in 2012. After the factory expansion opened in 2018, LMC currently employs around 700 people.
